The theme of this year is fix it 2014. Three months in and we have made quite a bit of progress on the house but ummmm I went swim suite shopping today and of course got totally depressed realizing that this awful extra long winter has wreaked havoc on my already not so perfect lumpy little body. So part of fix it 14 has to involve some work on this house for my soul as well as our homes. I hate my legs. They are definitely my least favorite area. No matter how much I run the flab remains. I broached the subject of lipo once to nick and he looked at me like I ran over him with a truck. I’m not a really superficial girl so maybe it does seem strange that I would consider something like that. But did I mention I really hate the cellulite on my legs? This time of year rolls around and I always want to buy myself some cute shorts and tank tops and as soon as I try them on I realize why I only own like three pairs of shorts. I just don’t feel sexy at all with my legs showing. So enough complaining here is the point. I’m including my legs into our fix it 14 portfolio. I’m going to run, do squats, wall sits, lunges, weights… All kinda of other awful things to punish my lower body and I’ll see if I can make a difference this year on my own … If I can’t then I’m revisiting that lipo conversation with nickypop no matter how he looks at me because I would love to wear shorts and feel sexy just a few times in life before I’m too old to do it. I guess expect lots of posts of leg punishment and yes I’m taking a before picture but no I’m not sharing that with the world just yet because my gosh no one needs to see that!
